Yellow - the most straightforward groupCARPAL, METACARPAL, PHALANX and TRAPEZIUM are all bones of the hand - the most direct link on the board.
Green - mediumSEDGE, FESCUE, BLUEGRASS and TIMOTHY are all grass types.
Blue - harderCATEGORY, PRESSURE, STORM and TROPICAL are all types of hurricane.
Purple - the trickiest groupEach word goes in front of SHELL to make a word or phrase: EGG + SHELL, NUT + SHELL, OYSTER + SHELL and BOMB + SHELL.
