Yellow - the most straightforward groupSHEET, BLANKET, QUILT and COMFORTER are all bedding layers - the most direct link on the board.
Green - mediumPEN, MARKER, CRAYON and CHARCOAL are all writing tools.
Blue - harderCOPPER, BRASS, STEEL and BRONZE are all metals.
Purple - the trickiest groupCREASE, CRUMPLE, WRINKLE and CRIMP all fit verbs - bend/fold. As the purple group it is the hardest link to spot, often because some of these words look as if they belong elsewhere.
