Yellow - the most straightforward groupSCONCE, CHANDELIER, PENDANT and VANITY are all lighting fixtures - the most direct link on the board.
Green - mediumOAK, WALNUT, CEDAR and TEAK are all wood stains.
Blue - harderSHRUB, HEDGE, VINE and CLIMBER are all outdoor plants.
Purple - the trickiest groupPATCH, MEND, DARN and SOLDER all fit verbs - repair/fix. As the purple group it is the hardest link to spot, often because some of these words look as if they belong elsewhere.
