Yellow - the most straightforward groupBENEDICTINE, FRANCISCAN, DOMINICAN and JESUIT are all medieval holy orders - the most direct link on the board.
Green - mediumHOLY, SACRED, CHRISM and BALM are all types of coronation oil.
Blue - harderEach word goes in front of CROWN to make a word or phrase: ICE + CROWN, THORNS + CROWN, GLORY + CROWN and JEWELED + CROWN.
Purple - the trickiest groupA sound-alike group: say each word out loud and it sounds like a different word. The link is the sound, not the spelling.
