Yellow - the most straightforward groupSWALLOW, CRANE, WARBLER and STORK are all migratory birds - the most direct link on the board.
Green - mediumSAND, ROCKY, COASTAL and COLD are all types of desert.
Blue - harderNITROGEN, POTASSIUM, PHOSPHORUS and CALCIUM are all elements in soil.
Purple - the trickiest groupEach word goes in front of BEAR to make a word or phrase: TEDDY + BEAR, POLAR + BEAR, PANDA + BEAR and CARE + BEAR.
