Yellow - the most straightforward groupFLOATING, BRACKET, CORNER and LADDER are all wall shelving types - the most direct link on the board.
Green - mediumTAPE, RULER, SCALE and CALIPER are all measurement tools.
Blue - harderORANGE, APPLE, CRANBERRY and LEMON are all types of juice.
Purple - the trickiest groupHACK, TRIM, SHEAR and PRUNE all fit verbs - cut/slice. As the purple group it is the hardest link to spot, often because some of these words look as if they belong elsewhere.
