Yellow - the most straightforward groupVENUS, CALYPSO, CIRCE and MEDUSA are all mythology - beauty myths - the most direct link on the board.
Green - mediumTEN, NINE, EIGHT and SEVEN are all playing card ranks.
Blue - harderSPRING, SUMMER, AUTUMN and WINTER are all calendar seasons.
Purple - the trickiest groupEach word can follow NIGHTINGALE to make a word or phrase: NIGHTINGALE + LANE, NIGHTINGALE + SONG, NIGHTINGALE + WOOD and NIGHTINGALE + ROSE.
