Yellow - the most straightforward groupRHINE, DANUBE, THAMES and VISTULA are all rivers of Europe - the most direct link on the board.
Green - mediumLINEN, COTTON, WOOL and SILK are all types of fabric.
Blue - harderBARN, TAWNY, SNOWY and LITTLE are all owls.
Purple - the trickiest groupEach word goes in front of BERRY to make a word or phrase: STRAW + BERRY, BLUE + BERRY, RASP + BERRY and ELDER + BERRY.
