Yellow - the most straightforward groupHONOR, VALOR, LOYALTY and COURTESY are all chivalric virtues - the most direct link on the board.
Green - mediumBASTION, RAMPART, BATTLEMENT and MOAT are all fortress features.
Blue - harderEach word goes in front of STONE to make a word or phrase: LIME + STONE, TOMB + STONE, SAND + STONE and GRAVE + STONE.
Purple - the trickiest groupA sound-alike group: say each word out loud and it sounds like a different word: WRITE sounds like right, READ sounds like reed, RIGHT sounds like write and KNOW sounds like no.
