Yellow - the most straightforward groupSHOE, HAT, GLOVE and COAT are all items of clothing - the most direct link on the board.
Green - mediumA hidden-word group: each word has an animal names tucked inside it, reading the letters straight through: MOTHBALL (MOTH), CAMELOT (CAMEL), PIGEONHOLE (PIGEON) and CHICKENPOX (CHICKEN).
Blue - harderRAGE, FURY, WRATH and IRE are all synonyms for intense anger.
Purple - the trickiest groupEach word goes in front of BREAK to make a word or phrase: COFFEE + BREAK, HEART + BREAK, DAY + BREAK and TIE + BREAK.
